A Public Defender's Perspective

Before venturing into private practice, AnnMarie served as a public defender in Indiana County for five years. This invaluable experience gave AnnMarie a unique insight into the complexities of the legal system, honing the skills needed to navigate even the most challenging cases.

A Homegrown Advocate

Raised right here in Indiana, Pennsylvania, AnnMarie has deep roots in this community. She attended the Indiana Area School District, fostering a strong connection to the local area and its residents. After completing her undergraduate studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), she took a unique path by pursuing a legal career later in life, entering law school at the age of 35.

Community Involvement

In addition to her legal work, AnnMarie is deeply committed to giving back to the community she calls home. She has been an active member of the Rotary of Indiana Mid-Day, working alongside fellow community leaders to make positive changes locally and globally. As a board member of The ARC of Indiana, she advocates for individuals with disabilities, striving to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.  AnnMarie has also been on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Indiana County and Downtown Indiana.  She presently serves on the IUP Athletic Advancement Council and is a Delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
